  • The first step. Get to finish an apprenticeship program

One of the most common paths that you can follow if you want to become a carpenter is admitted to an apprenticeship program. These programs tend to take around three to four years utmost, and once you complete the program, you can get on the job training which is also going to come with some classroom instructions that you may need to learn.

  • The second step: consider to go for a post secondary education

  • The third step: get to develop good marketable skills

As a carpenter, you may choose to enhance your carpentry skills by getting to specialise in either renovation or infrastructure. You could also join a Spanish class since carpenters who can speak both Spanish and English get to have a better position.
